Ready for the Weekend!

Ever notice how the work week following a holiday weekend seems to endlessly drag on forever?  Mine has.  Although due to a miscommunication, I ended up making a road trip to a court to file something yesterday.  At first I was annoyed, but then listening to the car radio and driving down the highway overcame the annoyance and turned to bliss.  No one saying they needed something right away.  No chit chat with coworkers.  It was a much needed day.  Even though I had to drive 143 miles to get there, file the document and then turn around and drive back.

I am nearly finished with my Christmas shopping. I have a few more gifts to buy and a few stocking stuffers and then I am done.  i don’t mind buying gifts — I mind wrapping them.  Not one of my talents at all.  I have been forcing myself to wrap a few gifts a couple of evenings so that I am not wrapping Christmas Eve afternoon as I have been known to do in past years.

Hair appointment tomorrow, need to take the pug to get her nails trimmed — the fashionista is at the boyfriend’s, cleaning, some cooking, more wrapping, brushing animals, clean the bunny cage, laundry and the usual drudge chores.

I finished one sleeve on the baby cardi.  Need to sit down and finish the other.

Anyone out there watch Primeval on BBCA?  I have been watching it and think it is great.

Just finished Brisingr — thought it would be the last book, but it is not to be.  One more to come.  Now I must wait to see how Eragon and Saphira fare against Galbatorix.  Drat.
